It has been a while.... back on the road again!
The kids are in holidays, and I arranged a little bit of time yesterday to share with them the beauty of DIY.
The new CPU is an Intel i3 with 8GB of RAM (Intel processors are better than AMD for recent builds of MAME). I'll post the complete specs later on. The ROMS are in a 1TB USB Disk for now, it's easier to update the files there, since the Arcade Machine doesn't have a network connection.
I Had a few problems installing the chinese GPU (ATI Radeon HD4350 from DealExtreme). CRT Emu Driver doesn't detect the card. I got the latest Catalyst Drivers from AMD for HD4350 for XP64, installed Soft15Khz and I finally got an RGB signal on the TV.
GroovyMame64 doesn't launch from Maximus Arcade... need to check on Google why.
I'm going to inform the guys in BYOAC Forum that this card doesn't work with CRT Emu Driver, and check if they can do something about it!
I also need to get an updated ROM set, and check a couple of more emulators.
